Miles' First Concert

Miles has been taking music lessons this year with the Utah Valley Children's Choir Lets Play Music program.  He has enjoyed it...but really wants to know why he can't just start playing trumpet right now.  Buddy boy, you've got to take the "basic" music classes first.  Even Porter has been singing "Mi Re Do".

Pictures from his first concert...doesn't he look soooo nice?
Here's his little tantrum from too much picture taking....gotta get that one in!
My choir boys.  Allen has been helping out with the concert choir for the UVCC.

Here is a clip from the concert.  Sorry for the poor quality.  I had 2 crazy little boys with me... bumping me, trying to swipe the camera, etc...!!  I know you can't imagine who that would've been!  Good job, Miles.  We are so proud of you!

Had a rough day...

Any Questions???

P.S. Didn't get pictures of the multiple colorings on the walls or the potato chip bag crumbs all over the floor...What was mom doing while all this was going on you ask?  Getting dressed!!

My favorite "new" Christmas decoration!

I would've never thought to do this, but my wonderful neighbor showed me a picture of something like this, so I tried it and absolutely love it!  I have 3 lights like this hanging from the ceiling above my island in the kitchen.  All it takes are a few Christmas picks and a ribbon!  Love, love, love it!

Little Hoopsters 09

With the start of Miles' Little Hoopsters season, basketball reclaimed the number 1 favorite sport again.  It was baseball.....I am sure once baseball season starts up, number 1 will change again.  Miles LOVED playing basketball, especially because they didn't just do drills.  He loved scrimmaging.  The program is for 1st and 2nd graders, so Miles is one of the smaller kids, but boy can that boy shoot!  What a ball boy!

Way to go buddy boy!

Thanksgiving 2009

Here is the crew we had at our house for Thanksgiving this year!  We loved having all of the family come and stay....thank you everyone for traveling so far so we could all be together.  We had lots of fun!  The house seemed kind of small with that many people, but it didn't feel cramped.  It was a lot of fun, for us and the boys, who love to play with cousins.

Here is Allen with his parents and siblings, minus Tom and his fam.  We missed you guys!
Here are the cousins!  Adara is the only girl!
Miles and Drevan
Our bowl headed babies, Porter and Adara...I guess they really are toddlers now!
Adara is super cuddly, and Porter did not like it one bit when I would hold her.  But Mom, I am your baby!
Quincy and Jax
We even got to see our wonderful friend, Darla!!  What a great Thanksgiving weekend!
Thanks again everyone for coming!  We are so thankful for you all!  See you all at our first family reunion next summer, RIGHT Lyn??? :) Everyone better feel obligated to be there...sorry Jeff, couldn't resist!
