What great advertising!

I have to brag about Allen for a minute.  I did get his permission to put this picture on our blog but he would never do it himself.  Allen sings and plays sax at Wallaby's in Lindon every Friday night and it has been super fun to go with the boys and listen to dad sing, eat yummy food, and dance to the great music.  Awhile ago, the owner wanted to do some advertising on a couple of UTA buses.  They took some pics but they ended up saying that the pics didn't turn out very well...we thought that was the end of that...much to Allen's relief I think.
I was sitting at a stop light recently and guess who I see on the side of a bus driving by? My hubby singing!! Bigger than lifesize!  A student of Allen's caught this pic with a cell phone and emailed it to him asking him if that was really him? haahaa
If you want some great singing/playing and yummy food, come to Wallaby's.  We'll probably see you there!

Memorial Weekend with Granpa and Granma!

The boys love it when Grandpa and Grandma Hansen come for a visit.  They were here for a couple of days and the boys really tired them out...trips to the park, throwing poppers, baseball, basketball, etc...It was Grandma's first time meeting Porter.  She is so good with him.  Thank you so much for being with us for Memorial weekend Grandpa and Grandma!  We love you guys so much and appreciate all of your love and support.

They believe they can fly!

I never thought I would want to get a trampoline, but I changed my mind.  We thought it would be a great summer toy for the boys.  They absolutely love it.  They kind of look like caged monkeys when they are in the enclosure, which makes us really laugh!  We wanted to buy the one they used to sell at Sam's Club with a hoop already attached but they don't sell it anymore. So we had to improvise.  Welcome summer!

The Yellow Dart!

Our memorial weekend started with Allen's "dealing with the gas crisis" purchase.  The "yellow dart" became part of the fam and hopefully will be a good thing!  (It gets 80-100 miles to the gallon) :)  How could that be a bad thing!!  Allen will drive it to work, weather permitting.  I worry a little about the safety, you know those crazy UT drivers, and keeping his suits clean but we'll see how it goes!  Allen was really excited to fill up the tank for $4.00.

Tootie Ta!

Miles' First Musical Performance:

This is the first video we've put on the blog...so sorry it is

not with the graduation pics. We're still trying to figure this out!

Enjoy the Tootie Ta experience from Miles' Preschool graduation.

P.S. You will need to scroll down to the music player in the right hand column and push pause so that you'll be able to hear the video.

Miles, Quincy, or Porter?

Let's play a game.....  Which boy is in the pic?  It was kind of hard to pick photos that wouldn't date the pic...like pictures of Miles laying on our green and white Salvation Army couch or someone else in the picture that would give it away.
Good Luck.  The answers will follow the pictures.  (Carol, I know you won't need the answer guide!!)

Answers: 1. Miles  2. Porter  3. Quincy  4. Quincy  5. Quincy  6. Porter  7. Miles

It's so fun to look back and notice each of the boys uniqueness but also the similarities.  I am so thankful for my 3 beautiful boys. They are each so special.  I love you guys!  (Technically I have 4 boys...miles would have corrected me...I love you too hubby!)

Miles' Preschool Graduation

Miles absolutely loved going to preschool this year.  He learned so much.  The graduation was awesome.  They sang songs about what they learned and danced too.  They made shirts with handprints of all of the "friends" in their class.  It was so cute to see Miles a little embarassed and singing all of the fun songs.  I even tried out the video part of our new digital camera. Daddy was able to get away from work for awhile to see the graduation and even made a sign for Miles to see when we got home.    I can't believe Miles will be in kindergarten next year.  Wow, the time goes by so fast.  We love you Miles and are so proud of you!

Summer Jammies

It's been so hot lately that we had to put away the winter jammies and get out the summer ones.  I found these summer NBA jammies at Ross and knew the boys would just love them. (it's really nice that they think the NBA logo is Michael Jordan) My crazy basketball boys!

Porter's smiles!

We finally had to break down and buy a new digital camera.  Our 5 year old Sony Cybershot gave up.  Wow, I can't believe how much better digital cameras are now!  So these are the first photos I've been able to get of Porter in a few weeks.  (so sorry Grandpas and Grandmas)

Porter is nicknamed "Portly" for a reason.  He is a rather healthy kid.  He loves to eat. I got these smiles when I went in his room to feed him after his nap.  I asked him if he was ready to eat!  The other shot is right after eating!  Most of his smiles revolve around food!  He does belong to our family! :)

Why pay for toys?

Why do kids absolutely love to play with anything that isn't really a toy?  Babies love keys and cell phones,etc...well, we bought a new stroller to seat 2 kiddos, and the box has been a big hit for the boys.  They have turned it into a slide in the living room, colored on it, and snuggled in it like a sleeping bag to watch a movie.  Ahhh to be a kid again!

Porter's 2 month pictures

Wow!  I can't believe Porter is already 2 months old.  I never expect much going to the studio this early to get photos taken but Porter cracked that adorable smile on the very first shot!!  Porter is giving us some really fun smiles now...Miles tells everyone who comes to the house that "Porter smiles for real now".  Porter is about 13 pounds and very long for his age.  He still has lots of really dark hair but the back is rubbed completely off.  He loves to cuddle and lay on his activity mat.  He HATES the carseat and being messed with (his shots were fine as soon as the nurse let go of his leg).  His nicknames right now are Portly and PT.  We love you so much Porter!

SMILES!!!

I hardly ever get smiles of all the boys at one time...well okay I am missing one boy in this shot but the 3 older ones are actually smiling!  yeah.  I probably said something like "stinky" to them to get them to smile.  That always works!

My KeeKee!

Quincy has been having a hard time adjusting to having less attention with a new baby in the house.  I took these photos one morning while Miles was at pre school and Porter was napping.  He sure loves the attention.  If I have ever taken pictures of him that show his personality, these are them!!  (a whole lot of fun, gorgeous smiles, and a little bit of stinker)

(KeeKee is what Quincy calls himself because he can't say Quincy...the nickname has kind of stuck)

I love you Bubba!
