Screwdrivers and eyes do not mix. Quincy can now say in his sleep "Do we carry around and play with screwdrivers? NO!" Mom has been telling him that over and over for a day.
Yesterday Quincy poked himself in the eye with a screwdriver. We were super lucky that he only scratched his eye. We'll go back to the eye doctor in a week to make sure there is no more damage. Here is Quincy in his sunglasses and eyedrops from the dr. Mom will be extra careful too because she saw him with it a few minutes before it happened and didn't take it away.
Bad mom!

Wow--that was a scare I bet. Glad to hear it doesn't sound too bad. Don't be too hard on yourself. You didn't intend to let him get hurt.
The two older boys are better, but Jonathan and I are still fighting something. I'll keep you posted when we can come.
Always a new adventure at your house!
I'm doing as good as too be expected with only 5 weeks left! We are just getting excited for the little guys arrival.
The screwdriver incident sounds like something that would happen at my house! You are NOT a bad Mom!
Hope you are enjoying your new home!
Glad it wasn't too serious but for sure a scare! Note to self about keeping daddy tools out of kids reach :-) Everett (and Reis) seems to have an eye for what he is NOT supposed to be playing with! You are a great mom, Tara....boys will be boys...just hope our boys make it out of childhood with out TOO many broken bones/stitches! Hope Quincy is feeling better!
