SUPERFAMILY Pictures 2013

Our wonderful neighbor and friend is an amazing photographer.  She was very patient with our group of crazies!  Thanks to her for her time and effort!  There are some real keepers here.
(Grandparents….let me know which shots you want…these are the web versions so they will not print clearly for you.  I will print them with the high res files. The other up close kid options are on the far right column of the blog!)

Let's start with these cute (did you hear that Miles) kids!

Miles at 10

Quincy at (almost) 8

Porter at 5

 Ella at 18 months

Upcoming SUPER 2013 Photo shoot!

It's coming….
Yes, Grandpa and Grandma Hansen….we did get family pics taken….

We are excited about this SUPER picture session!

Ella turns 18 months!!

Holy cow! Where has the time gone?  My Ella is 18 months.
Her favorites:
my iPhone, animals, getting the mail with dad, being outside, swinging at the park,
Macaroni and cheese, shoes, water, her brothers, her stubby blanket, throwing her on the bed
Nickname: Miss E, Ella BoBella
Words she says (at least her version): dada, mama, brother, kiki, Bobo, duck, ball, bock bock, milk, snack, more, shoes...

I love this photo of E.  You might wonder why I don't put her hair back.  She won't leave headbands in, or clips, etc...

First day of Nursery at church….wahoo for everyone!!!

We love you Miss!

Baptism Photo Shoot--Quincy

Can't believe this passionate persistent kid is going to turn 8 soon!!
Took him on a date to the temple to take some pictures…

Ahhhh now there is a stinker smile!!

What a handsome young man.
Slurpee treat after and I am so proud of him…he has had a goal of not drinking soda pop for 3 months. He was bummed he couldn't have the DP slurpee.  He found DP gum!

So so proud of you Kiki.

Fall Break--ABQ trip

The Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta lined up with fall break this year…so we made the 9 hour car drive to visit Grandma and Grandpa Hansen and see some balloons!!

The boys couldn't quite understand the culture of hanging the chilis at your front door...

We LOVE Sopapillas!

So awesome to see Uncle J.  I felt very very short!!

Hopefully the boys remember the balloons and how awesome they were.  Because I heard about how COLD they were about 500 times that morning!

Grandpa bought Ella a necklace….she didn't see the balloons!!!

I had a wonderful date with this cute man!  ALBUQUERQUE TEMPLE.

With Dion's after of course….
for a 2nd time!

Got to see my best buddy from HS, Adrienne.

We loved our trip.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!!!

3 boys in Concert Choir

Miles and Quincy are now singing with the Utah Valley Children's Choir, so I get fantastic HANDSOME pictures like this...

Love my boys!

Happy 20th?

ok, normally I wouldn't post something for my birthday....especially since I now round to the big 40...yikes!  But had to share this sweet little story...

Went to Pizza Factory for a yummy birthday meal.  Told the waitress it was a 35th birthday...apparently she thought that was a bit too old to put on my birthday treat!  It came like this:

Ok, didn't think I was THAT old, but ok!
My birthday note from Miles 2 days later on the actual day:

ahhh to be that sassy and young again!

Rainy Fall

If we lived in Colorado we might feel differently, but our kiddos have sure enjoyed the rain!
(besides canceling baseball games)

I get the stink eye glare when I make Ella come in.  She LOVES to play in the rain.  Look how wet she is...I mean really raining hard!

My adventurous Bobo in the gutter.  Yeah, Ella joined in too!  I try not to think about how gross and cold that is and let them just be kids!

School Starts

Ok, so part of me is always so so ready for school to start.  Then, they leave and the house is too quiet.  Isn't there a happy medium?  Maybe year round 1/2 day school?  Haha!  Looking back at last year's pics, the boys have done a lot of growing!

Porter and mom waiting for the boys to get home.  Kindergarten doesn't start till the week after the rest of the school.  That's a week of torture that's for sure!!

Lest we forget what Fall also means...
6 games a week.  Love watching my boys play!

The boys love Jackie Robinson and we finally saw the movie.
This is Porter's drawing of him.

Miles' new white jersey...yeah, you heard me right WHITE!
My stain removing skills have dramatically improved!
