Miles was baptized on July 9, 2011.
It was a wonderful day. We had a lot of family and friends there to support Miles. Miles was so excited and it was so fun for us to see him ready for this important milestone in his life. We are so proud of the young man he is becoming. He finished reading the Book of Mormon before his baptism. He also memorized 11 of the 13 Articles of Faith. (we are still working on 2 of them).
We had a anti picture Porter that day. Too bad!
Here is the crew. We had Grandpa and Grandma Matthews, Grandpa and Grandma Hansen, Grandpa Bradford, Uncle Hugh, Aunt Brenda, and Cousin Paige there for the special day.
"Aunt" Andrea came too!
We had a BBQ at our home afterwards.
Our good friends, Lupida and Allison, made Miles a chocolate cake that he loves.
We are so proud of you Miles. Baptism is the first step in your journey back to your heavenly home. We love you.

Congratulations to Miles! He is a good kid. He sure does know his articles of faith. He helps us out in class all the time with them. Which makes me wonder, what 2 doesn't he know??
Congrats! Poor Avorie I think will be the last one baptized. At least she know what to expect.
