HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!
Daddy got to bring home Ella and mommy on his birthday! How fun! The boys were super excited to celebrate and give dad his gifts! They are really thoughtful boys and love to wrap "surprises".
Big brother Miles. He loves his SISTER. Hopefully her "scowl" can help brother know that she doesn't have to be the cheerleader...she can play ball with them!
Big Brother Quincy. Quincy is very interested in how Ella eats! Don't think he remembers when Porter was a baby.
Ella is so strong. She gets her arms out of her swaddling blanket regularly!
Gas smiles...but we'll take them. Ella is a very straight forward baby. She LOVES to eat. She never snacks...I joke that her stomach must run from her chest to her big toe! She was sure happy when there was more milk for her. She loves to suck on anything. When she was first born she found her fingers and thumb. She is also the only baby we've had that will keep a pacifier in. This only works when she's tired though. If she is hungry, it's just offensive!
It is so fun to see Ella literally change before our very eyes. She already looks different than when she was born. Mom is trying to figure out how to juggle 4 kiddos. Quincy is having to learn that the "schedule" might need to be altered...aka do things together while Ella sleeps and play Wii while mom is feeding her. Porter loves to sit in the nursery and just jabber away and pat Ella's head while I feed her. And they are all working on not YELLING in the house. Mom says it doesn't have to be silent but just not yelling...yikes, we have loud talking children!
We are tired but loving our new little family member!
